Story: Earliest appearances of the maxi dress was in 1968 when The New York Times highlighted a cotton lace version by Oscar De La Renta. Quickly all hip fashion houses opted the new styles and maxi lenght begun to outdo the mini skirt. From cotton maxi dresses quickly involved to to be more lacey and flowy to the ankle lenght. Modern day maxi dress in usually cotton jersey and down to the heel. In the 70's maxi dress gained highly fashionable status along with similar kaftan and boho styles. Even today maxi dress is often assosiated with down to earth hippie style with it's ultra feminine feel. Even though minidresses have been usually the choice of the young and rebellious rock'n'roll girls, maxi dress has been seen worn by many artists and strong women to give more bohemian look. Jo Wood

Story: Jo was born to an architectural model maker dad and Avon lady mum in Essex, UK. She has aone sister and two brothers. She attented local convent school which she left at the age of 16. She worked as a model until she was 22 and she was The Sun magazines "Face of 1972". She met Ronnie Wood in 1977 and they were married in January 1985. The couple had two children, Leah and Tyrone. Jo had her first son Jamie at the age of 18. Jo accopanied Ronnie regularly on tour looking after his wardrobe and diet. She has lived in Los Angles and New York but is now settled in London. When living in New York she designed clothes for the fashion label "No Scruples".  Following a serious illness in 1989, Jo began to follow a strict organic lifestyle and in 2005 she lanched her own range of organic cosmetic products, "Jo Wood Organics". Jo and Ronnie split up in 2008 after Ronnie walked out on Jo to live with an 18 year old cocktail waitress.
Style: Jo has said her style icon is Brigitte Bardot and it shows on her glamorous but girly outlook. She still relays on smoky dark eyes, nude lips and sexy messy blonde hair. Her style has always been spot on trends with rock twist. She still wears her black leather and printed t-shirts when wants.

Sara Dylan

Known-for: first wife of singer-songwriter Bob Dylan and mother of singer Jakob Dylan
Story: Sara was born to Jewish parents but her parents both died during her young adulthood. She worked as a fashion model, Playboy bunny, stage actress and for TIME. She married Hans Lownds and they had a daughter Maria. Sara met Bob Dylan at Alber Grossman's wedding in 1964. Grossman was Dylans manager and Sara knew the bride Sally. She was not familiar with his music and only vaguely knew who he was. The couple came romantically involved sometime in late 9164 and she left her husband for Dylan. Sara and Dylan married in secret ceremony on November 1965 during a break in his tour. Although Sara was pregnant at the time, the marriage was not seen mere wedding of convience). Dylan reportedly "depented in her advice as she were his astrologer, hisorcle, his seer, his psychic guide".  Couple had four children together: Jesse, Anna, Samuel and Jakob. Dylan also adopted Maria, her daughter from her first marriage. The marriage start to brake when Dylan started taking art classes from Norman Raeben, a 73-year old Russian imigrant. Dylan has later stated Raebans teaching methods changed radically his way of thinking and his wife never understood him again. It has been thought that Dylans constant touring and and his infidelities put a strain on marriage. Couple's bitter divorce was finalized in 1977 but only in 1983 couple could solve their issues and even considered remarriage. Sara has been the inspiration for many of the Dylan songs.
