In 2006 Fergie also released her first solo album The Dutchess. Fergie has been together with actror Josh Dushamel since 2004 and couple married in January 2009.
Style: Fergie knows her fashion but gives it always her own specific touch. She came known for ghetto funk style when emerging to fame with her band The Black Eyed Peas. She wore skimpy clothes showing lot of well toned body and chose bright colours and piles of accessories to attract attention. Since then Fergie has toned down her look along with the general fashion trends. She has opted to her new much less costume-like style darker colours influenced more by rock'n'roll than hiphop. She is still very bold and flamboyant dresser and not boring by any means. She perfects all her outfits still with piles of accessories and dares to wear outraging pieces such as studded leather skirts.
